College of Humanities

UA humanities programs are devoted to the study of the world's languages, literatures and cultures.

The College of Humanities is an excellent choice for students who have a passion for writing, reading and dialogue in English or other languages. The college's departments and programs help students develop communication skills, expand their knowledge across disciplines and cultures, and participate in study abroad programs.

Programs prepare students to enter careers that require leadership and strong writing skills, as well as experience conducting research and working in teams. In obtaining a liberal arts degree, students acquire skills and knowledge valuable in a multi-lingual world.
